Why Join the Chamber?
The mission of the Two Harbors Area Chamber of Commerce is to create and enhance a business climate in which area businesses can prosper.
Four reasons why your business should belong to the chamber:
- Marketing! Marketing! Marketing! Affordable advertising benefits are included with all membership levels, as low as $23 per month. You won’t find that kind of marketing anywhere!
- Networking: All members are invited to the 12+ chamber events per year, to network with fellow business owners and representatives, making beneficial connections with fellow members.
- Advocacy: Our chamber coordinates our local representation at Duluth & St Louis County Day at the Capitol, as well as regular lobbying and advocating for North Shore businesses locally, regionally and statewide.
- Travel & Tourism: Our chamber works to enhance and promote the North Shore experience, resulting in economic benefits of travel and tourism.
The Chamber promotes the area through the production of promotional publications including an annual Visitor Guide & Community Directory and a Community Map, and markets the area in leading state and regional destination publications.
The Chamber supports area youth through student scholarships, a 4-H leadership award, and two annual Student Board Members that attend board meetings and chamber events. We also coordinate “CEO’s in the Classroom”, bringing in local business representatives to speak with 8th grade students, educating them on real life topics like cost of living and career goals.
The Chamber holds memberships with various area non-profit organizations, providing financial contribution and supporting missions of these community service organizations.
The Chamber supports the community by sponsoring “Breakfast for Heroes” recognizing first responders such as ambulance crews, fire personnel, law enforcement, and linemen. We also coordinate volunteer efforts for Grandma’s Marathon and Northshore Inline Marathon, events that bring thousands of people to our area and benefit our local economy.
